Jeff is in his 11th year at UCAP and his 14th as a teacher. Before UCAP, he was a teacher at the Bridge school through the Urban Collaborative, and a ninth grade teacher at Sanford High School in Maine. However, he began his educational career as a Peace Corps volunteer in both the Solomon Islands and the Phillipines, where he read every book he could get his hands on. That may be the reason behind his incessant search for the perfect books to spread his literary addiction to every student at UCAP.
Jeff graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1998 with a BA in English writing, before returning for an additional semester to complete his teaching semester.
Jeff now lives in Hope, RI with his wife and two children. His free time is spent hiking, snowboarding, and tending his enormous garden.
