Chris Cuthbertson, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, is an educator of long experience. She was one of the founding teachers of UCAP in 1989, taught social studies and history here and at two independent schools, Worcester Academy and Lincoln School. She graduated from the Principal Residency Network in 2008 and moved from the classroom to her current position. In addition, Chris is on the Boards of the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of Barrington and the Center for Leadership and Educational Equity and coaches a Critical Friends Group for the Learning Leader Network.
Chris earned a BA in History from Williams College and an MAT from Brown University. She is a native Rhode Islander and currently lives in Barrington with her husband, her son and two loveable Labrador Retrievers. Her office is well-supplied with Jolly Ranchers and dog biscuits, so stop in and say hello.
