The UCAP School Coronavirus Info & Updates

At The UCAP School, our main priority, always, is the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff. We are doing our best to manage our response to coronavirus (or COVID-19) based on the information we have. We are in frequent contact with local health and education authorities to understand the risks and handle any developments in the situation. 

Updated March 27, 2020 – Assistance with food for families

If your family needs help with food there are places you can pick up breakfast, lunch, and, in some cases, dinner and meals for the weekend.

Click on the link below. Then, click on the drop down menu near the top of the page, scroll down until you see your city, and highlight your city in blue. Then, click the orange button labeled, “See Sites.”

Updated March 23, 2020 – School lunches

Due to school closures, free “Grab and Go” meals are available for school children through out Rhode Island. Please see the link below for site locations and information.

March 13, 2020 – Spring Break Closure

After classes finish at 2:00 pm today, March 13, 2020, The UCAP School will be closed for Spring Break. We are moving our Spring Break up to next week, March 16-20, 2020. This will replace our previously scheduled vacation in April.

We are monitoring the coronavirus situation and will provide updates here as information becomes available.
